Luxottica Culture
We firmly believe that Luxottica is a premier place to work. Our culture is built around employees who care about each other, as well as the customers we serve every day. We also believe that our success is embedded in our cultural characteristics: Imaginative, Passionate, Entrepreneurial and Simple & Fast.
We Value Open Communication
A critical part of the success of our culture is our open communications with each other. Every employee has the opportunity to speak with any other employee, from the newest hire to the highest executive, about any workplace related topic. Issues are always taken seriously and doors are always open for discussions about personal careers, challenges, and obstacles that might arise.
We believe there is no room for a U.S. Union in a place that offers its employees a good place to grow and achieve their career goals. The fact that most Luxottica employees have refused to sign up with any union is evidence of the Company’s continued commitment to deal openly with its employees.
Many of our managers, human resources professionals, and executives have had experience with U.S. Unions both inside and outside of Luxottica. We do not believe that having a Union is in your best interest or ours. We don’t think that our employees should have to pay the Union fees or dues to come to work.
With a U.S. Union, the open culture at Luxottica would change. Your ability to be an individual contributor and succeed based on your own merit and hard work might be compromised. We believe that our employees want to think, speak, and act for themselves. We hope that you feel the same way.
